Haluski - Fried Cabbage and Noodles
Fried cabbage and noodles is a classic Eastern European dish that is so fast and easy to make! You can customize it to your liking with bacon, sausage or another meat!

Ingredients
- 3 cups medium-wide egg noodles uncooked
- 1 large onion sliced
- 3-4 lices Bacon diced
- 1/3 cup salted butter
- 6 cups of green cabbage sliced
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the noodles to al dente according to the package directions. Drain and run under cold water.
- In a large frying pan, cook the bacon until it releases some drippings. Add in the onions and cook for 10 minutes, until translucent. Drain the extra bacon grease.
- Add in the butter and cabbage and cook until the cabbage is tender-crisp, around 15 minutes.
- Stir the noodles into the pan, mixing in thoroughly.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
