- 2 (15.5-ounce) cans northern beans
- 3-4 cups water
- 3 cups chicken broth
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup carrots chopped
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 2 cups chopped ham
- ½ teaspoon ground white pepper
- fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Place beans, broth, water, salt, carrots, onion, garlic and mustard powder in a large pot. Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped ham and simmer for 20 more minutes. Season with ground white pepper to taste.
- Top with chopped, fresh parsley.
