Ingredients

  • 1 demi baguette
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon spicy mustard
  • 4 slices Virginia ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 stalk green onion thinly sliced for garnish, optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and mustard
  3. Mix well and set aside
  4. Cut the ham and cheese slices into 1/2-inch pieces; set aside
  5. Using a bread knife, slice your demi baguette lengthwise, making cuts 1-inch apart. Be sure not to cut all the way through the bread
  6. Turn the loaf 180 degrees and cut the bread again, slicing 1-inch apart, making sure not to cut all the way through the bread. This will leave you with several 'squares' of bread
  7. Spread the mayo/mustard mixture in between all the slits
  8. Shove the sliced ham and cheese in between. Don't be afraid of over-stuffing, there's no such thing
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly
  10. Remove from oven and top with sliced green onions
  11. Serve warm
