Hamburger Hashbrown Casserole

With this cheesy hamburger hash brown casserole, the leftovers won't make it until the next day.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cups shredded hash browns thawed
  • 1 10.5-ounce can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (Velveeta is a great substitute)
  • 2 pounds tater tots

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F, and grease a 2-quart casserole dish.
  2. In a frying pan, brown the ground beef with the onion, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Drain the fat.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the hash browns, soup, milk, cheese, and ground beef. Stir to combine.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in the greased casserole dish.
  5. Place the tater tots in a single layer over the entire casserole.
  6. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, or until thoroughly heated and the tater tots are crispy.
