Hawaiian French Toast with Almonds
This Hawaiian French Toast uses sweet, soft Hawaiian bread dipped briefly in a cinnamon and vanilla egg mixture, then cooked to golden perfection on a griddle. Sliced almonds add a subtle crunch, while a dusting of powdered sugar and generous drizzle of maple syrup contribute extra sweetness. The texture balances the fluffiness of the bread with the toasted edge and nutty almonds. This makes a comforting breakfast or brunch option that carries a gentle warmth from cinnamon and vanilla.
