Healthy Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (gluten-free, if desired)
  • 2 ounces Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 4 tablespoons parsley finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 3 teaspoons fresh garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg whisked
  • 1 pound 93% lean ground turkey
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients except the turkey and olive oil. Once mixed, add in the turkey and mix until just combined.
  3. Scoop out 1 tbsp-sized balls (I use a cookie scoop) and place onto the baking sheet, rubbing them with oil.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, or until a thermometer inserted in the center reads 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Serve with your favorite pasta sauce and DEVOUR!
