Heath Bar Cake

You have got to try this delicious Heath Bar cake with crumb topping. No cake mix or frosting is needed for this recipe.

Ingredients

  • ¼ pound butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup nuts chopped
  • 8 heath candy bars crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine butter, brown sugar, and flour until the mixture is crumbly.
  3. Set aside 1 cup of crumb mixture.
  4. Add baking soda, salt, vanilla, egg, milk, and nuts.
  5. Spread cake batter into a 9 x 13 pan.
  6. Sprinkle reserved 1 cup of crumbs evenly over the batter.
  7. Sprinkle crushed Heath bars on top.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  9. Allow the cake to cool to room temperature before slicing.
