Homemade Almond & Peanut Butter Bars

Homemade Almond & Peanut Butter Bars are dense, chewy nut bars combining a variety of nuts and coconut flakes blended with cocoa powder, peanut butter, and honey to form a rich, energy-boosting snack. The nuts are processed to a crumbly texture before adding the wet ingredients to create a sticky paste which is chilled until firm and sliced. These bars offer a nutritious and flavorful way to enjoy nutty textures and chocolate notes in a handheld format.

Ingredients

  • 400 g peanut butter
  • 100 g walnuts
  • 100 g hazelnut
  • 100 g almonds
  • 100 g cashews
  • 50 g peanuts
  • 80 g coconut flakes
  • 100 g cocoa powder
  • 100 g honey

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place the nuts together in a blender and mix until they obtain a breadcrumb-like texture.
  2. Add the honey, peanut butter, and cocoa powder and blend until the mix becomes a paste. If the paste is too thick for the blender, mix by hand until homogenous.
  3. Line a 20x30cm (7.5-11.5 inch) baking tray with plastic film. Put the mixture in the tray and press firmly. Cover with foil and refrigerate.
  4. When hardened, remove from the fridge and cut into 24 pieces (about 50g or 1.75 oz each).
  5. Store in a covered container in a cool place. Enjoy!
