Homemade Applesauce
This applesauce recipe is packed with nutrients and free from additives and sugar so you can feel good about giving it to your baby or the whole family as a snack.
Ingredients
- 1 apple peeled and chopped into large chunks
- 1/8 Tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Place chopped apples in a steamer pot over boiling water.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes or until fork tender.
- Place apples and cinnamon in a food processor and puree until smooth.
- Cool and serve.
Notes
- Note: This recipe is intended as baby food, but if you want to make a larger amount, just use more apples and adjust cinnamon to taste!
