Ingredients
- 3 large onions
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
- 3 teaspoons seasoned salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 Tablespoons dried parsley flakes
- 3/4 cup plain bread crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- In a large bowl whisk together eggs and milk. Add flour, sugar, baking powder, seasoned salt, black pepper, garlic powder, dried parsley flakes and bread crumbs.
- Slice the onions 1/2 inch thick and separate the layers into rings.
- Dip each ring into the batter and then place the ring on a lightly greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Flip the Homemade Baked Onion Rings over and then bake for 10 more minutes.
- Serve immediately.
