Ingredients
- ¾ cups (6 fl oz/170 ml) lukewarm water
- ⅓ cup (2 ½ oz/75 g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 large egg, at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup (4 fl oz/120 ml) evaporated milk*
- 2 tablespoons (1 oz/28 g) butter, melted
- 3 ½ cup (1 lb 2 oz/ 525 g) bread flour
- Egg wash
- 3 tablespoons (1 ½ oz/45 g) butter, melted
- powdered sugar for dusting
Notes

- Evaporated milk: you can replace it with milk and add 2 tablespoons extra of sugar
