Homemade Blackened Seasoning

This homemade Blackened Seasoning is so flavorful you'll want to use it on everything! It's not just for meats - I love it on avocado toast, tuna salad, and more.

Ingredients

  • ¼ tsp allspice
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tsp dried mint
  • 1 tsp coarse cracked black pepper
  • 1 ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In your favorite jar, add all of the spices, put on the lid, and give the jar a generous shake.
  2. Once all of the spices are well mixed, store the homemade blackened spice mix in a dark and cool place away from direct sunlight for up to one year.
