Homemade Blue Cheese Dressing

Rich, creamy, and tangy, this homemade blue cheese dressing is the ultimate topper for your favorite salad or dip for chicken wings!

Ingredients

  • 3-4 ounces blue cheese crumbled into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon sugar - to taste!
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder - to taste!
  • 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce  to taste if desired
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the buttermilk, sour cream, mayo and vinegar. Add the sugar, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. Add the Worcestershire sauce to taste if desired.
  2. Mix in the blue cheese crumbles, then cover.
  3. Refrigerate for a few hours before using for the best results. Mix, and serve.
  4. Keep refrigerated in a sealed container for up to a week, any longer and the ingredients will separate or get watery.

Notes

  • This recipe is one that you have to adjust to your own personal preferences! Adjust the spices and the amount of blue cheese to your liking!
  • Try a dash of Worcestershire sauce in this if you want!
