Homemade Buffalo Sauce Recipe

This Homemade Buffalo Sauce Recipe is easy, quick, and so delicious! Skip the store bought buffalo sauce and make your own delicious sauce at home.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter just barely melted
  • ¾ cup Franks Hot Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika optional but recommended

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Stir together all ingredients.
  2. Allow to cool and thicken for 30 minutes.
  3. Serve immediately or cover tightly and store in fridge up to 1 week. Gently reheat in a sauce pan over lowest heat setting on the stove.

Notes

  • Hot sauce: Frank's Hot Sauce has a distinct flavor and is my top preference for buffalo sauce. You can use other hot sauces but the heat level and flavor may vary.
