Homemade Chicken Alfredo Recipe

This homemade chicken alfredo is a one-pan wonder. Made from scratch in about 30 minutes from start to finish, this is one dinner that your family is sure to love.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 chicken breasts medium
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 pound pasta any kind
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 3 ½ cups chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • ¾ cup Parmesan Cheese

  1. Cube chicken. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add chicken.
  2. Cook until browned, it may not be cooked through. Add garlic. Cook until fragrant.
  3. Add broth, pasta, salt, pepper, and parsley. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 6 minutes, or until the pasta is almost done (time will vary depending on pasta type). Add more broth if necessary.
  5. Once pasta is almost cooked, add the cream and cook until done.
  6. Turn off the heat and add parmesan cheese. Stir to combine.
