Homemade Chili Lime Seasoning
This easy chili lime seasoning will replace Tajin in your spice drawer with a 5-ingredient blend you can make yourself.

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp dehydrated lime zest
- 3 tbsp Diamond Crystal kosher salt
- 1 tbsp ground chipotle chile powder
- 1 tbsp ground guajillo powder
- 1 tbsp ground ancho chile powder
Instructions
- Mix together all ingredients in a bowl and enjoy sprinkled on watermelon or a fruit salad for a unique snack. It's also is delicious sprinkled on mango, cucumber and popcorn or use it to rim a cocktail.
- The spice will keep for 3 months in an airtight container stored at room temperature.

Notes
- You can mix / match the 3 tbsp of red chili powder needed so for example if you can't find guajillo, you could use 1 1/2 tbsp chipotle and 1 1/2 tbsp ancho.
- Dehydrated lime zest isn't always easy to find so you can substitute with lime powder or citric acid if needed.
