Notes
- How to Make Low-Carb Buttermilk
- Add one tablespoon of lemon juice to a one-cup measuring cup, add heavy cream, almond milk, or your favorite milk, stir, and sit for 5-10 minutes.
- Storage
- Storage
- If stored airtight, homemade blue cheese dressing can last 5-7 days in the fridge. Please keep it in the coldest part of the fridge and check for mold or spoiling before consuming it. Do not freeze.
- Variations & Substitutions
- Spicy Dressing: Add heat by adding a generous pinch or two of cayenne pepper or sriracha sauce (or both) to the mix. This is especially great for dipping chicken wings!
- Buffalo Blue Cheese Dip: Add a few teaspoons of your favorite Buffalo hot sauce to make creamy buffalo blue cheese sauce or dip.
- Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing: I love chunky blue cheese; stir in a few extra crumbles (about ¼ cup).
- Gluten-Free: This dressing is naturally gluten-free, double check all your ingredients before making.
