  • ½ teaspoon red wine vinegar

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl, pour into 16-24 ounce jar, and let set in the fridge for a few hours, for the best taste.

Notes

  • How to Make Low-Carb Buttermilk
  • Add one tablespoon of lemon juice to a one-cup measuring cup, add heavy cream, almond milk, or your favorite milk, stir, and sit for 5-10 minutes.
  • Storage
  • Storage
  • If stored airtight, homemade blue cheese dressing can last 5-7 days in the fridge. Please keep it in the coldest part of the fridge and check for mold or spoiling before consuming it. Do not freeze.
  • Variations & Substitutions
  • Spicy Dressing: Add heat by adding a generous pinch or two of cayenne pepper or sriracha sauce (or both) to the mix. This is especially great for dipping chicken wings!
  • Buffalo Blue Cheese Dip: Add a few teaspoons of your favorite Buffalo hot sauce to make creamy buffalo blue cheese sauce or dip.
  • Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing: I love chunky blue cheese; stir in a few extra crumbles (about ¼ cup).
  • Gluten-Free: This dressing is naturally gluten-free, double check all your ingredients before making.
