Homemade Fish Fingers Recipe

These Homemade Fish Fingers (Fish Sticks) are easy, delicious and a great recipe for kids to help make. They're baked too, so are healthier.

Ingredients

  • 250 g fresh cod fillets cut into 8 finger sized strips
  • 2 lices bread made into breadcrumbs by blending it
  • 1 egg whisked
  • 40 g plain flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven 200°C/180°C(fan)/400°F/Gas 6.
  2. Cut 250 g Fresh cod fillets into fish finger size pieces
  3. One at a time, coat the cod pieces in 40 g Plain flour.
  4. Then dip it into 1 Egg (whisked).
  5. Then roll it in breadcrumbs (made from 2 slices Bread) so it is completely covered.
  6. Repeat with each piece and put on a lightly greased baking try.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minute, until cooked through and golden.
