Homemade Garlic Bread Toast

Another, more time-saving, way to make homemade garlic bread is to make homemade garlic toast. Here’s how you do it.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Italian bread sliced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 prig parsley finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven or the toaster oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut the Italian bread into thick slices, place in a baking pan, and set aside.
  3. Peel the garlic cloves and finely chop. Set aside.
  4. Remove the stalks from the parsley and finely chop the leaves. Set aside.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over each slice of bread and rub minced garlic on them. Sprinkle chopped parsley over each as a finishing touch.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 14 minutes, or just until the bread is crisply toasted and golden brown.
