Another, more time-saving, way to make homemade garlic bread is to make homemade garlic toast. Here’s how you do it.

Ingredients
- 1 loaf Italian bread sliced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 prig parsley finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven or the toaster oven to 350°F.
- Cut the Italian bread into thick slices, place in a baking pan, and set aside.
- Peel the garlic cloves and finely chop. Set aside.
- Remove the stalks from the parsley and finely chop the leaves. Set aside.
- Drizzle olive oil over each slice of bread and rub minced garlic on them. Sprinkle chopped parsley over each as a finishing touch.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 14 minutes, or just until the bread is crisply toasted and golden brown.
