Homemade Graham Cracker Crust Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups Graham cracker crumbs about 12-14 full graham cracker sheets
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter melted

Instructions

  1. Place the graham crackers into the food processor. Pulse until you get a fine crumb.
  2. Stir together the cracker crumbs, sugar, and butter in a medium mixing bowl until well combined.
  3. Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
  4. To bake
  5. Preheat your oven to 325°F.
  6. Bake for 11 minutes. Let the crust to cool before using.
  7. To chill
  8. Place the crust in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill before using.

Notes

  • Graham crackers: For a traditional graham cracker crust, you'll need honey graham crackers.
  • Granulated sugar: The sugar helps to give the pie crust flavor and sweetness.
  • Butter: I use salted butter. If you're using unsalted butter, add a pinch or two of salt.
