Instructions
- Start by combining beef mince, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Use your hands to mix everything together thoroughly.
- Divide the mixture into four portions and shape each one into a 2cm-thick patty.
- Heat a non-stick or grill pan over medium-high heat, and cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side until they're fully cooked through.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the burger buns by slicing them in half and toasting them lightly in the oven or under the grill.
- When the patties are almost done, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty to melt.
- To assemble the burgers, place a cooked patty on the bottom half of each bun, add your preferred toppings, and then place the top half of the bun on top.
- Serve the burgers immediately with your favourite sides, such as fries or onion rings.

- Nutritional facts:
- The provision of nutritional information is done so merely as a courtesy and should not be taken as a guarantee.
- Feel free to personalize the toppings to your liking.
- If you want your burgers cooked differently, adjust the cooking time accordingly. However, keep in mind that eating undercooked ground beef may increase the risk of food poisoning.
- You can also use a frying pan on the stovetop to cook the patties, using a little oil to prevent sticking.
