Homemade Hot Pockets

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough refrigerated
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni sliced
  • 1 egg beaten, large

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Divide the pizza dough into 8 equal portions.
  3. Roll each portion into a 5-inch square. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Spread a tablespoon of pizza sauce on each square, leaving a border. Top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.
  5. Fold the dough over the filling to form a pocket. Seal edges with a fork. Brush with beaten egg. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
