Homemade Melba Toast
Homemade Melba Toast is the perfect addition to any party. These crunchy little triangles are perfect for dipping, spreading, or serving with soup. Melba Toast is a bit old school! But trust me; it is one recipe that is so versatile that it needs a revival. The best part about making Melba Toast is how easy it is. You only need thinly sliced bread, a baking sheet, and an oven. You'll have a batch of crispy, golden toasts in just a few minutes.

Ingredients
- 10 lices white bread
Instructions
- Heat the broiler/grill to medium.
- Place the slices of bread onto a baking sheet and toast them lightly on both sides.
- Cut the crusts off each slice of toast.
- Using a non-serrated knife, carefully slice through the middle of each slice (see picture above) to give you 2 thin slices.
- Cut each thin slice in half to create 2 triangles.
- Put the triangles, untoasted-side up, onto a baking sheet and place them back under the broiler/grill to crisp. This will take about 2 minutes. Watch them carefully, as the toast will burn easily.
