Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups ice

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Put all the ingredients in a blender.
  2. Cover and blend until smooth.

Notes

  • For the most authentic texture, make sure your ice is properly crushed by the blender. If you have large ice cubes, pulse them a few times before adding the remaining ingredients, or pre-crush them. The finished drink should be thick enough to hold a straw upright but still pourable. Unlike the original version which contained raw eggs for frothiness, this safer version achieves the same texture through proper blending technique and the combination of powdered sugar and ice.
