Homemade pancake syrup recipe

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon maple flavoring
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a saucepan, combine the sugar, water and corn syrup.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Boil for 7 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  4. Remove from the heat; stir in maple flavoring and vanilla.
  5. Cool for 15 minutes (it will thicken more as it cools).
  6. Serve over pancakes, waffles or French toast. YUMMY!
