Homemade Peach Sorbet

I recently learned that fresh local peaches can easily be transformed into a delicious frozen treat. I used my ice cream maker to make this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 4 peaches
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup or honey
  • 3 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Slice the peaches and remove pits. There is no need to remove the peel.
  2. In a blender puree the peach slices, maple syrup (or honey), and water.
  3. Pour the mixture into frozen ice cream maker bowl and follow manufacturer instructions (in my case that meant letting it run for 15-20 minutes). Enjoy!
