Homemade Taco Seasoning
Homemade Taco Seasoning is a blend of chili powder, ground cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and a touch of cayenne for heat. This mix provides a balanced combination of smoky, savory, and mildly spicy flavors. It is designed to season approximately one pound of meat, adding classic taco seasoning flavor without preservatives or additives found in some store-bought packets. The seasoning can be stored in an airtight container for repeated use.
Ingredients
- 6 tablespoon chili powder
- 4 teaspoon cumin ground
- 3 teaspoon paprika
- 2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together and store in an air tight container. (I actually used an old spice bottle I had saved)
- Use 2 tablespoon with 1 pound of meat.
