Ingredients

  • 3 TBSP chili powder
  • 2 TBSP ground cumin
  • 1 TBSP paprika
  • 1 TBSP garlic powder
  • 1 TBSP salt
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp ground cayenne pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Measure out spices into a small bowl and mix well.
  2. Add to a spice jar or a small lidded mason jar and label.
  3. Use in all your favorite taco night recipes for a boost of flavor!

Notes

  • Prefer a salt-free blend? Simply leave it out and you're good to go!
  • In place of plain black pepper, I like to use cayenne. Since this spice is made from hot chili peppers, it will add a spicy and flavorful heat to your taco blend. You can absolutely add extra if desired. For a mild taco seasoning blend, simply use 1-2 teaspoons of regular black pepper instead.
  • Recipe yields 9 Tablespoon "servings" of taco seasoning blend to fill a 4 ounce spice jar. Feel free to make more if you need it!  Nutrition Facts below are estimated per TBSP using an online recipe nutrition calculator. Adjust as needed and enjoy!
