Homemade Tahini Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup Tahini
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4-1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a food processor blend together the lemon juice and garlic cloves.
  2. Using a mesh strainer, pour the lemon and garlic into a bowl and discard any chunks.
  3. In the same bowl add the tahini, cumin, and salt and stir together.
  4. Add the water a little bit at a time until it reaches the desired consistency.
  5. Serve with pita or veggies.
