Homemade Whipped Cream Recipe
This Homemade Whipped Cream recipe uses cold heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to create a light, fluffy topping. Whipping the mixture to stiff peaks with a chilled bowl ensures a stable texture that holds well when served. It is ideal for desserts, beverages, or as a garnish, providing a fresh and creamy complement without added preservatives or stabilizers.
Ingredients
- 4 cups heavy whipping cream , very cold
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Chill a large metal mixing bowl (or the bowl of an electric stand mixer) in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
- Add whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the chilled bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed. When the whipped cream begins to thicken, increase the speed to medium and beat until stiff peaks form.
