Ingredients

- 1 1/2 pounds chicken thighs boneless, skinless, cut into bite sized pieces
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 garlic minced, 1 clove

- 1/3 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 garlic minced cloves
rest of dish
- 2 tablespoons butter unsalted
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds toasted
- 1 green onion thinly sliced
Instructions

- Place chicken into a large bowl and add remaining chicken marinade ingredients.
- Stir together until evenly combined. Allow mixture to sit for 10 minutes.

- Stir together all sauce ingredients. Set aside
cooking and assembly
- Place a large sauté pan over medium-high heat and melt butter.
- Add chicken and sauté for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Pour sauce over chicken, lower heat to medium and stir together. Simmer mixture for 4 to 5 minutes or until sauce thickens enough to coat chicken.
- Remove from heat and top with sesame seeds and green onion. Serve.
Notes
- This dish can be prepared up to 2 days ahead, stored sealed in the refrigerator, then reheated gently on the stove, thinning the sauce with water if needed.
- Alternatively, you can prep all ingredients in advance—chopping, mincing, and measuring—to reduce cooking time on the day of serving.
