Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breast cut into 3/4 inch pieces, boneless, skinless
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic about 3 medium cloves, minced
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 cups white rice cooked
- green onion for topping
- sesame seeds for topping
Instructions
- Place the cubed chicken breast and flour in a large bowl (or bag) and toss until the chicken is fully coated with flour.
- Add the olive oil to a large skillet set over medium-high heat.
- When the oil is hot, add the chicken in a single layer.
- Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally.
- When the chicken is cooked through, add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Next whisk together the honey, water, and soy sauce.
- Add the sauce to the pan and stir to coat the chicken.
- Bring the sauce to a boil and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until it is bubbling and thick.
- Serve immediately overtop rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
