Honey Garlic Chicken Stir Fry
Honey Garlic Chicken Stir Fry is such a delicious one pan meal filled with veggies and chicken and coated in a delicious and savory honey garlic sauce. This is an easy 30 minute meal that your family will love!
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ asparagus cut into 1-inch pieces, bundle
- 4 ounces mushrooms sliced
- 1 yellow squash sliced, small
- 1 zucchini sliced, small
- 1 red bell pepper 1-inch cubes, cubed
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 1 pound chicken 1-inch cubes, cubed
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- red pepper flakes to taste
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons olive oil, ½ bundle asparagus, 4 ounces mushrooms, 1 small yellow squash, 1 small zucchini, 1 cubed red bell pepper, and salt and pepper to taste until tender. Remove from the pan and set aside on a plate.
- Add 1 pound cubed chicken and cook until tender and no longer pink. In a small bowl, whisk ¼ cup soy sauce, ¼ cup honey, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, 1/2 cup chicken broth, 3 cloves minced garlic, red pepper flakes to taste, and 2 teaspoons cornstarch.
- Add the vegetables back to the skillet with the chicken and pour sauce on top. Simmer until sauce starts to thicken and serve over rice if desired.
