Ingredients
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup water
- 2 tablespoons culinary-grade dried lavender
Instructions
- In a small pot, combine the lavender, honey, and water over medium heat. Stir as you bring the syrup up to a simmer. No need to bring it up to a boil, a gentle simmer is all you need.
- Simmer for 2 minutes or until the honey is dissolved into the mixture, and then remove the syrup from the heat and let it steep for 10 to 25 minutes, depending on how strong you’d like the lavender honey syrup to taste.
- Strain the mixture into an airtight container. Let cool to room temperature before sealing it and storing it in the fridge.
