Honey Mustard Dressing blends lemon juice, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil into a balanced, tangy, and slightly sweet salad dressing. It offers bright acidity with a smooth texture, suitable for drizzling over greens or as a marinade.
Ingredients
- 1 lemon juiced (about 2-3 Tablespoons)
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic or shallots, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt sea salt
- black pepper to taste, ground
- 1/4 cup olive oil or avocado oil
Instructions
- Blend: Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until combined or alternatively add all ingredients into a bowl and whisk until completely combined. Makes 3/4 cup.
- Store: Store dressing in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
Notes
- Use maple syrup instead of honey to create a vegan version of this dressing.
- Stone-ground mustard may replace Dijon, but adjust honey and vinegar to balance acidity when using yellow mustard.
