Honey Orange Pork

This pork turned out awesome! The outside had a crust of pepper and spices and the sweet glaze over this made it amazing. And the pork was oh so tender.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork tenderloin
  • salt and pepper
  • ⅓ cup orange marmalade
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 ½ tablespoons minced garlic 
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. For the sauce whisk the marmalade, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and honey.
  3. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Rub the outside of the pork with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the pork to the skillet and cook each side for about 2 minutes until it forms a crust.
  5. Remove the pork from the skillet and place in the prepared pan. Cover with about 1/2 of the sauce and cook for 15 minutes.
  6. Remove the pan and carefully flip the pork. Pour the rest of the sauce over the pork, reserving 2 tablespoons. Continue to cook for another 10-15 minutes.
  7. When the pork temps out to 145 degrees Fahrenheit remove from the oven and slice.
  8. Drizzle the pork with the remaining sauce and enjoy!
