- 12 kebab sticks
- ½ cup extra strong coffee - cold
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup

- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 garlic clove
- ¼ teaspoon all spice
- 1.1 lb chicken tenders
- ½ cup sour cream
Instructions
- Start by soaking the the kebab sticks in a jug of water. This prevents them burning on the grill.
- Pour the coffee, salt, maple syrup, chilli powder, chilli flakes and all spice into a large ziplock bag.
- Crush in the garlic into the bag, then seal the bag and shake it about a bit to mix everything together.
- Add the chicken tenders and place the bag in the fridge to marinade for 2-6 hours.
- Preheat the grill to it's hottest setting.
- Remove the chicken from the bag and thread each tender onto your soaked kebab stick. Lay them out of a baking tray.
- Grill one each side for 3-4 minutes a side until just cooked through.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- These hot and spicy skewers are hot! If you want to tone it down then use just 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper.
