Hot Bacon Cheese Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded Monterey jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion
  • 7 bacon strips diced and fried
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red chili flakes, more to taste

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl and stir well to combine.
  3. Spread mixture into a small cast iron skillet or 8x8 baking dish.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until heated through.
  5. Serve with crackers and vegetables, for dipping.

Notes

  • To bake this in a bread bowl, slice the top quarter off of a round loaf of bread and set aside. Carefully hollow out the inside, leaving a 1 inch shell. Bake as directed. Cube removed bread and set aside for dipping.
