Hot Caprese Dip

A bubbling hot Caprese Dip that's perfect for game day and best enjoyed with crostini!

Ingredients

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes halved
  • 8 ounces containers of fresh mozzarella cut into cubes
  • 12 ounces low moisture shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup pesto
  • Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • Crostini or Bread sticks or any kind of Cracker

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. In a medium oven-safe skillet or baking dish, spread the halved cherry tomatoes in an even layer. Add the fresh mozzarella cubes over the tomatoes, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella on top. Drizzle the pesto over everything and gently toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbling.
  4. Serve immediately with crostini, breadsticks, or crackers for dipping. Enjoy while it’s hot!

Notes

  • I definitely recommend perfectly toasted bread as the vehicle for this dip, but crackers, chips, and veggie slices are all great.
