  13. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Hot Honey Sauce: Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your preferred spice level. You can use sriracha, cayenne pepper sauce, or any hot sauce you like.
  • Chicken Alternatives: You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier option. Tofu or tempeh can be used for a vegetarian version.
  • Grill Option: For a healthier alternative, you can grill the chicken instead of baking it. Brush with hot honey sauce during the last few minutes of grilling.
  • Vegetable Variations: Feel free to add other vegetables to the bowls, such as roasted bell peppers, corn, or black beans, to make it more colorful and nutritious.
  • Make-Ahead: The chicken can be breaded and refrigerated a few hours before baking. The hot honey sauce can also be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
  • Leftovers: Store any leftover chicken and sauce separately in the refrigerator. Reheat in the oven to retain crispiness.
