Hot Honey Whipped Cottage Cheese Dip
This Hot Honey Whipped Cottage Cheese Dip blends creamy cottage cheese with a drizzle of hot honey for a balance of cool and spicy flavors. The smooth texture comes from whipping full-fat cottage cheese with olive oil and sweet heat from hot honey, topped with cracked black pepper, fresh basil, and crunchy roasted pistachios. Ingredients
- 1 oz container cottage cheese I used Good Culture 4%, full fat
- 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil plus more for serving
- 1 Tablespoon hot honey plus more for serving
- black pepper for serving, fresh, cracked
- pistachios for serving, roasted, salted, chopped
- basil for serving, fresh
Instructions
- Add cottage cheese, olive oil and hot honey to a food processor.
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy (about 1-2 minutes). You might have to stop a few times throughout to scrape the sides down.
- Scoop whipped cottage cheese into a shallow bowl or on a small plate and top with a drizzle of hot honey, olive oil, crack of black pepper, fresh basil and chopped pistachios.
- Serve immediately with pita chips.
