How to Bake Pork Tenderloin in the Oven

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs pork tenderloin
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika or smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs

  1. Remove any excess fat and the silver skin from the outside of the tenderloin.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Heat a skillet over medium to medium-high heat and sear the tenderloin for a minute or two turning so it’s seared on all sides.
  3. Mix together garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub the seasoning around the tenderloin.
  4. Transfer the tenderloin and rosemary to a rimmed baking sheet and place it in the oven.
  5. Bake for 20-27 minutes. Remove the tenderloin from the oven when it reaches 140°F.
  6. Let it rest for about five minutes. During this time the tenderloin will continue to cook and the internal temperature will increase by 3 to 5 degrees. The tenderloin is ready to serve when the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Slice the tenderloin and serve with your favorite sides.
