How to Bake Pork Tenderloin in the Oven

- 4 lbs pork tenderloin
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika or smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- Fresh rosemary sprigs

Instructions
- Remove any excess fat and the silver skin from the outside of the tenderloin.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Heat a skillet over medium to medium-high heat and sear the tenderloin for a minute or two turning so it’s seared on all sides.
- Mix together garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub the seasoning around the tenderloin.
- Transfer the tenderloin and rosemary to a rimmed baking sheet and place it in the oven.
- Bake for 20-27 minutes. Remove the tenderloin from the oven when it reaches 140°F.
- Let it rest for about five minutes. During this time the tenderloin will continue to cook and the internal temperature will increase by 3 to 5 degrees. The tenderloin is ready to serve when the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Slice the tenderloin and serve with your favorite sides.
