- 1 cup almonds
- water hot or room temperature to top
Instructions
- Decide which method you will use to blanch and peel your almonds. If you are in a hurry, use hot water, if you want to soak your almonds overnight, use room temperature water.
- Place almonds in a bowl and pour water over the almonds.
- Leave the almonds to soak until the skin detaches.
- Strain almonds and remove the skin from each almond. Separate skin and almonds.
- Use your peeled almonds further in your cooking and baking.
