Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • 8 cups water approximately
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar any kind

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a single layer on the bottom of a large pot. 
  2. Add water until the eggs are covered by one inch. This is usually about 8 cups in my pot, but the amount will vary depending on the size of your eggs and pot. 
  3. Add the vinegar. 
  4. Place the pot on the stovetop and bring to a rolling boil. 
  5. Turn off heat and let sit, covered, for 10 minutes. 
  6. Place eggs in an ice bath to stop the cooking process. 
  7. Once cooled, tap and roll gently to peel.
