Ingredients

Servings
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ tablespoons yeast
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 ½ cups water warm
  • 2 ½ cups ham chopped
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese
  • pizza sauce for serving

Instructions

Prepare Hot Pockets (Skip this step if using store-bought hot pockets)

  1. Start by adding the flour, salt, and yeast to a food processor with the blade attachment. Pulse until well mixed and then add the olive oil and pulse again.
  2. With the machine running, pour in the warm water.
  3. Let the machine continue to run until the dough pulls away from the edges and forms a ball.
  4. Transfer the dough to a greased bowl and cover until it rises and doubles in size.
  5. When the dough has doubled in size, use your hands to separate it into equally sized balls. Roll each ball into a small circle about the size of your hand.
  6. Add pizza sauce, cheese and meat to each circle and then fold to make a half-circle.
  7. Seal the edges of each hot pocket and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake the Hot Pockets

  1. Bake at 450°F for about 12 to 15 minutes until golden and heated through.
