Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa rinsed
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the rinsed quinoa, water and salt in a medium pot.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then cover the pot, reduce the heat to low, and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Turn off the heat and allow the pot to sit, still covered, for an additional 10 minutes to steam the quinoa.
  4. Fluff the cooked quinoa with a fork to separate the grains and serve.
