Ingredients

  • 1 pineapple

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Start by removing an inch of the top and bottom of the pineapple
  2. Stand the pineapple up, using a sharp knife, starting from the top, and following the contour of the pineapple, carefully peeling the skin off.
  3. Continue to peel the pineapple, taking off 2-3 inch wide pieces of the peel, being sure to cut deep enough to see only the yellow flesh
  4. The tough core of the pineapple is in the center and about the circumference of a quarter. Cut the pineapple in quarters from the top to the bottom, then remove each wedge of the core with a straight cut downward.
  5. Take each quarter and cut into the desired size.

Notes

  • Storage: Store any leftovers in an airtight container. They will last up to 3 days in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer.
